For the development of a unified approach, within the member dance associations, to the teaching of dance and the grading and status of dance teachers
For the introduction of Ballroom and Latin American dance into educational Schools
For the application of funding to support dance projects

ONE FORUM:

To encourage continued personal development for amateurs and professionals through regular congresses
To provide networking between members
For the exchange of ideas through its various committees to develop best practice in dance
To amicably resolve disputes and differences of opinion
To encourage all teachers of dance to enlist the protection of a recognised dance teacher organization
To encourage the public to attend only classes run by dance teachers qualified with a recognised teacher organization.
