of Dance
Social dance is enjoyed by a great many people and provides a valuable
form of exercise which does not become boring with the passing
of time. It is a social activity engaging people of all ages and
sexes and is fun and fitness all in one convenient parcel.
The self-discipline involved in learning to dance is of inestimable value to
the young as it promotes qualities of confidence, poise and self esteem. It also
allows both children and adults to participate in competitions which develop
team spirit and a sense of achievement.
Dancing is an ideal way to socialise and meet others of all ages and to do so
